Track 3 ... Listen to it With the Lights Down LowThursday, March 28th, 2002Milo at Quest kicks an awesome Hip Hop class!! Cry Me a River is now available in the JamsPage, CD's are in the mail, and Taylor Eigsti Fingers his way to a Fortuitous Future. ";"Hello the Haitus has Broken!!

Wow, my days have been strangely busy. How have you been? I'm doing pretty good these days. I'm currently looking for an awesome movie or theatrical script where I could play a character that changes the life of everyone who sees it. Something I could really sink my teeth into. :) Got Script? Keep this Idea in Mind Writers!!!
I'm currently taking an awesome HIP HOP class in Santa Monica, CA by this Hip Hop Master named Milo. He's choreographed for Michael and Janet Jackson to give you an idea of his talent and style.
Class one--I thought I was going to pass out, literally.
Class two--I couldn't remember if my left foot was connected to my ankle or my wrist.
Class three--Breakthrough!!! You couldn't keep me still. I was funkier than a chicken with new Air Jordans!!
Milo's class is an awesome butt-busting, sweat-pouring, attitude-releasing, feel-the-music type atmosphere. I LOVE IT.
Hopefully I'll be working with Milo on some very exciting upcoming projects.
Some other wonderful things have been happening for me lately. I went to my P.O. Box yesterday to find that YOU GUYS DO LIKE MY MUSIC!!! I'll have those CD orders out of my hands for you tomorrow. Thank you SO much for your support. I had perma-grin all night from your letters!! :)))))
Hmmm... I'm also interning at a talent agency in Los Angeles once a week. It's pretty interesting to see the innerworkings of this part of the business... Example: Pepsi is planning a beach-scene commercial. They need some young happy people to drink Pepsi and say some lines on a Sunny May California Day. Pepsi's marketing department talks to their Commercial Development Company who will then send some basic info to L.A. Agencies called "breakdowns" and sometimes bits of a possible script called "sides".
The agency looks up and sends out their qualifying actors to the Pepsi audition. The actor wears beach attire and gets interesting looks on the 405 freeway the whole way there. 'Break a Leg!!', the actor's friends say. The actor gives an audition. And when it's over, hopes for the best. It would be nice to have a national commercial running that I'm in... And the 400 other actors are thinking the same thing that night.
It's hard to not get totally bummed because there are AN INFINITE NUMBER OF ACTORS. And What a Process!! It's just a part of the business that exercises patience... A useful quality to develop--no doubt.
I've found it's best to keep working hard on my craft and believe that the cream will rise to the top. No Worries.
In closing, check out this kid. His name is Taylor Eigsti. He's SIXTEEN years old. He plays piano like it's been his specialty for 45 years. He's awesome. Gabe and I saw Taylor perform live at this chill jazz cafe called Steamers in Aneheim.
If you like to appreciate music, download this selection from his CD. Taylor Eigsti plays Cottontail
Oh, and for those of you waiting for Track 3 from my CD, here it is: Cry Me A River. Enjoy!!
Track One and Track Two can also be downloaded from the Jams Page.
